Job Posting - CAMP Administrator

Farmersville-based non-profit Community Action Mission Program (CAMP) seeks a self-directed, reliable part-time administrator to support the faith-based mission of the organization. The CAMP administrator would assist volunteers and board members in their work to meet the ever-increasing needs of the residents of Farmersville, Germantown and New Lebanon by supporting the organization’s food pantry and Benefit Bank programs.

Responsibilities of the CAMP administrator include:

• Using established CAMP guidelines to respond to community needs, drawing from a pool of volunteers
• Scheduling Benefit Bank appointments, maintaining volunteer computer equipment, coordinating community counseling sites, educating clients on what to bring to appointments
• Assisting food pantry coordinator as needed
• Handling record-keeping and correspondence for CAMP, including local promotion for programs
• Additional duties as assigned by the CAMP board of directors


Qualifications:

• Self-directed and able to work alone
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and internet resources like Google Calendar
• Volunteer or work experience with a non-profit
• Sensitivity and compassion to those who are in need
• Discretion in handling personal financial information of clients


Compensation:

The Farmersville-based CAMP administrator will be paid for 10-15 hours a week (over 3-4 days) on a contract basis at $12 an hour.
